Used as heuristic, it can have a strong and lasting impact on your life : a mantra that sits in
a corner of your mind, ready to appear in your thoughts at the right moment.
A beautiful mnemonic tool, used to avoid bias, make better decisions under stress, and live
according to your ideals and beliefs.
But it can also be used as a short sentence you read or share to feel better without
achieving nothing at all. Escapism at its best.
We want our new quotes to be used in the best way possible :

Networking done right. In startups spheres, one of the most productivity killing activities is
networking events. Of course these types of parties can hide opportunities, but it will often
interrupt your work or family schedule, mess with your social energy levels, and are rarely
memorable nights.
Don't be that guy that tries to meet everyone and only talk to those that may help him.
Those guys make networking events sucks, hard.
Instead, why not enjoy the party, with moderation, and talk to people about non-work-related
themes ? This can create a sense of friendship before a partnership one.
This is also a simple hack to differentiate yourself from other attendees. Consider this event as a
simple gathering, be true to yourself ( without being too drunk ), don't expect too much, and
enjoy the night. If you have a more important thing to do, don't hesitate to pass on that
networking event, there are plenty of those throughout the year.

A lot of people are using social networks platforms to host their business and customer
relationship (community animation, after sale, ticketing…), video or article-sharing services for
brand content, and cloud-based drives to keep their files safe.
The geeky Awreeoh band warns you against an internet presence with non-proprietary
platforms and backups : Your business could get deleted !
A tiny change in a website's algorithm could have big impacts on your views, sales and growth.
Tech companies can change the rules when they want (and they do), and even lose your data by
accident.
That doesn't mean you shouldn't use these platforms, but be aware of their limitations and
dangers. Consider building proprietary platforms such as your own website, a client database,
your own cloud storage, even if it seems more complicated.
Make your own rules ! And please, copy your creations on a safe spot 🙏.
